What data we hold

Business contact information for limited companies and LLPs — company name and registration number, a business email address, and the name/role of a relevant decision-maker. We do not process special-category data.

Where it comes from

The Companies House public register and the company's own public website. We do not buy contact lists from brokers.

Why we use it & our lawful basis

To send relevant business-to-business information about our VAT Intelligence service to corporate subscribers. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) — B2B direct marketing — balanced against your interests in our Legitimate Interest Assessment. Email to corporate subscribers (limited companies and LLPs) is permitted under PECR without prior consent.

How long we keep it

Contact data is held only while relevant and is deleted within six months of last contact if there is no engagement. If you opt out, we keep the minimum needed to ensure we do not contact you again.

Your rights

You can object to our use of your data, or ask to access, correct or erase it, at any time. Objecting to marketing is absolute — reply to any message and we will stop and suppress your details immediately. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
